YOUR WEBSITE IS YOUR GREETER.
SO WHAT IS YOUR GREETER SAYING?
Having a great website is no longer an option. It is essential.
A new family moves into the community and they want to connect to a church. 95% of them will search online for a church to try out. Where does your church show up in the search results?
I offer custom website designs at affordable prices for churches. I realize that budgets are tight at churches, but a website is not an extra, it is an essential part of your communication to the community. A professionally designed website will increase your search engine ranking. And this will lead to more visitors.
If you have had a website for awhile, a redesign may be in order. Google has changed the algorithm for ranking. If your site is not designed for mobile devices specifically, your ranking will be penalized. By next year, over 60% of website searches will be done on a mobile device. Is your website prepared?
Essentials for Church websites:
1Partners that support your ministry. Once the website is built, I don’t just leave you, I remain alongside you. I know that church staff and volunteers don’t have time to be worrying about back-end technical stuff like code, servers, and domains. I take care of it all so you and your team can focus on the ministry.
2Custom, unique designs. I do not believe in cookie-cutter approaches. I believe churches who are clear with who they are will keep their visitors. If someone comes to a church expecting one thing, but they experience another, they will likely be disappointed? I create custom authentic designs that present your church specifically.
3Affordable. You need a website that fits your tight budget. I understand that church budgets are tight. So, I will customize the site and the plan to fit your budget. Though, it should be understood that an effective website usually increases newcomers and giving (when online giving is offered). A great website is not a cost, it is an investment.
4Convenient for your team to use. You need a convenient Content Management System (CMS). I know that if a website isn’t incredibly easy to edit, then no one will add content to it. I use a CMS system (like WordPress) that is easy to use, and if your volunteer is not computer savvy, I offer training.
I stick to this process because it works. With this process, I am able to provide results, solutions, and a solid plan to help your church grow. Whether it is a web design, or a brochure, or a social media marketing campaign, this is my process.
Every project is unique, but they all start with one thing in common: I want to know everything. Where you started. Where you want to go next. What you value. Who your customers are and why they care about you. I learn everything about you, and then collectively we define the project and set goals for the weeks to come.
Great collaborations result in great work. Your participation from start to finish is crucial. I rely on your expertise and feedback throughout the process to understand your business and your challenges. The end is just the beginning. This is a long-term journey and I am never finished supporting your goals.
I am not happy unless you’re happy. I will keep at it until we find the design, strategy, campaign, or plan that meets the goals we discussed at the outset. I want to be proud of what I create and do, I am sure you do too.
